Valenciso Reserva is a red wine from the Rioja developed by the Valenciso winery. The winery is located in Ollauri, a town north of La Rioja Alta. Valenciso Reserva is 100% made from Tempranillo, from 20ha of vineyards in La Rioja Alta. The vineyards are grown using sustainable agriculture, which is respectful of the environment and seeks to have minimal impact on the landscape. Moreover, the vineyards have a low yield of 5000 kg / ha and are planted on clay-limestone soils The development of Valenciso Reserva follows traditional methods. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation takes place in cement tanks. After the fermentation process, Hand-harvested, the grapes were destemmed, macerated and fermented in concrete deposits. After that, Valenciso Reserva 2015 was transferred into 95% French and 5% Caucasian oak barrels, where it was aged for 19 months. After that, it was aged for a further 12 months in concrete deposits.
